Kickboxing

We are trialing 13+ Kickboxing Classes for teenagers and adults at Claygate Martial Arts Centre for the first ever time this year.

Kickboxing is a dynamic martial art and combat sport that incorporates elements of boxing and various kicking techniques.

Originating from a blend of traditional martial arts and Western boxing, kickboxing emphasises powerful strikes using fists and feet, as well as agility and defensive manoeuvres.

Kickboxing serves as both a form of physical fitness and competitive sport, promoting cardiovascular endurance, strength, flexibility, and overall martial prowess.

This initial schedule of classes is to gauge interest in Kickboxing within the local community. We plan to include Kickboxing Classes as part of our regular timetable moving forwards.

Current members: please feel free to attend these classes as one of your regular classes. Please note that the regular HGMS classes will still be going ahead alongside the new Kickboxing Classes, as per the current class timetable.

Coach: Oscar Ferydooni

Oscar is an experienced MMA fighter and martial arts coach.

He has vast experience in striking, wrestling, and submission grappling/jiujitsu.

His passion for diverse martial arts styles shines through in both coaching and competition. With a versatile coaching style and wealth of coaching experience, Oscar tailors sessions to individuals of all ages and skill levels.
